Bel Air Pool Supervisor

DRD Pool Management, Inc. is hiring Area Supervisors in the Baltimore County, Harford County, and Howard County areas. This is a seasonal role in Bel Air from April until September. The position begins as a part-time role and expands to full-time as we near the opening of the pool facilities for Memorial Day weekend.

The Bel Air Supervisor is an outdoor role that requires thorough understanding and execution of DRD Pool Management’s Facility Operation procedures and Safety Policies. Area Supervisors work as team leaders who oversee the lifeguard staff assigned to their geographic region or “corridor”. Area Supervisors should be organized, meet deadlines, have patience to mentor young employees, and must have the swimming ability required to become a certified lifeguard.

Supervisors are responsible for maintaining client satisfaction using documented communications with specified community representatives.

Supervisors will train lifeguard staff on-site to follow and enforce DRD policies and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming environment for patrons; Supervise the preparation and cleaning of their facilities prior to opening day; Schedule regular meetings with specified representatives of the facility; as well as operate facilities in accordance with the Health Department regulations. DRD Pool Management believes that proper training and mentoring of the lifeguard staff is what maintains professionalism, cleanliness and facility safety.

An Area Supervisor must have their own consistent transportation to make their way to and from facilities within their corridors, as well as to attend meetings weekly located at the DRD office in Hunt Valley, MD. Gas reimbursement will be given with accurate tracking of vehicle mileage. As a Supervisor, you must also be available by phone to assist staff on duty or to be accessible to community representatives.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
