The Sales Trainer – New Home Sales is responsible for developing, delivering, and continuously improving the sales training program for the new home sales team. This individual plays a critical role in increasing the effectiveness and success of the sales team through hands-on training, coaching, and development. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with a strong background in new home sales and a passion for teaching and mentoring others. This position will require extensive travel to over 20 plus markets nationwide.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new sales associates in new home sales under the direction of the Director and SVP of Sales
- Conduct classroom, virtual, and on-site training sessions covering company sales processes, product knowledge, customer relationship management (CRM), financing basics, and objection handling.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to both new and tenured sales associates to improve performance and close rates.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify training needs and performance gaps.
- Develop sales materials, presentations, and tools to support training initiatives.
- Observe sales team members in model homes and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes affecting home sales.
- Track and report on training effectiveness using performance metrics, sales conversion data, and feedback.
- Organize and lead sales meetings, workshops, and team-building events as needed.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, generally 3 days a week visiting our sales consultants in their divisions/ communities.
