Sales Trainer / Sales Manager
Blue Collar Scholars | Bethesda, MD / Washington, DC (DMV Area)
Blue Collar Scholars is looking for an experienced Sales Trainer to coach, mentor, and develop our in-home sales team. This is a hands-on leadership role working directly alongside our sales representatives in the field, helping them improve their sales process, estimating skills, and closing ratios.
If you've successfully sold home remodeling or roofing projects and have experience coaching other sales professionals, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Ride along with sales representatives during appointments.
- Coach and mentor new and existing sales reps.
- Teach consultative selling techniques.
- Train reps on estimating and pricing.
- Improve close rates and gross margins.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Work closely with leadership to improve sales performance.
- Ensure sales presentations follow company standards.
- Lead by example in the field.
Requirements
- Proven track record in home improvement, remodeling, roofing, or construction sales.
- Experience training or managing sales representatives.
- Strong estimating skills.
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
- Leadership mindset.
- Ability to travel locally throughout the DMV area.
- Valid driver's license.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.

Required:
- Valid driver’s license
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation
- At least more than 5 years of sales & customer service experience with a proven track record
- Strong work ethic and commitment to exceptional customer care
- Desire to be part of a rapidly growing organization
- Industry experience a plus, but not required
