Department Summary:
Drake University's Department of Art & Design helps students develop their artistic and intellectual abilities, explore new areas, and discover career opportunities.
The Department is based on the idea that all the visual arts, including the most revolutionary, must arise from a sound training in the traditional studio arts and from a firm understanding of art's history. This foundation is as necessary for design as it is for painting or sculpture.

Job Summary & Qualifications:
The Department is looking for models! We are in search of models for figure drawing courses meeting Monday and Wednesdays from 2:00 pm-4:20 pm this Fall Semester.
Applicants must be able to position into a range of poses such a sitting, standing, reclining, and stretching. Applicants also need to shift into complex poses quickly as well as hold poses for periods of up to 1.5 hours.
Desirable models will have some background in dance, theater, meditation/yoga, or other body and movement experience. All body types and ages are encouraged to apply. We are purposefully seeking a diverse group of models. Previous modeling experience a plus, but not necessary. Models must be comfortable in the nude.
