Responsibilities
- Lead and manage plumbing teams on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards.
- Oversee construction estimating processes related to plumbing systems, including material takeoffs and cost assessments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation and repair work.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to schedule work phases and ensure timely project delivery.
- Supervise the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and other mechanical tools required for plumbing tasks.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to specifications.
- Manage inventory of plumbing materials and equipment while maintaining accurate records of work performed.
- Provide technical guidance on complex plumbing issues such as HVAC integration, remodeling projects, or maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong background in commercial or residential projects.
- Skilled in construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with pipe threading, welding, carpentry skills related to remodeling or assembly work.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for site travel or equipment transport.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
