About the Role
As a growing startup ISP, we’re looking for a Staff Accountant who enjoys digging into the details, improving processes, and growing alongside a company that’s scaling quickly.
As part of our Accounting and Finance team you will report to Senior Accountant. Your main job is to keep our financial engine running smoothly. Day‑to‑day, you’ll:
- Assist the Senior Accountant and VP of Finance & Accounting as needed
- Own full‑cycle Accounts Payable, including:
- Receiving and coding invoices to the correct GL accounts, departments, and locations
- Matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
- Routing invoices for approval and submitting approved payables for payment
- Post transactions and journal entries to accounting ledgers
- Familiarity with cost allocation by department, location or project.
- Help reconcile bank, loan, and credit card statements
- Maintain fixed asset listings and depreciation schedules
- Post bank deposits accurately and timely
- Assist with periodic tax filings and compliance tasks
- Support audits and tax return preparation
- Help with purchase orders, inventory management, and construction project tracking
This role is designed to grow. A successful candidate can progress into a Senior Accountant position over time as Dragonfly Internet continues to expand.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Accounting preferred) or equivalent experience
- 1–5 years of experience in industry or public accounting
- 1 years of experience processing Accounts Payable
- Solid Excel skills (you’re comfortable beyond basic spreadsheets)

- Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt as we grow
- Resourceful, detail‑oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of your work
- Resourcefulness, critical thinking skills, problem solving, taking ownership a must
- Strong Excel skills a must, proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 365 is a plus
- Work experience in small to mid-sized organization
- M&A experience
