Job Summary
As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Process payments efficiently using cash registers and ensure accurate transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries or concerns to maintain high levels of service.
Skills
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus.
- Proficiency in using POS systems is advantageous.
- Ability to operate cash registers efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
