What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Dragon Dental?
Overview
We are a true family practice looking to add another dental assistant to our growing team. Compassionate care is our top priority and we are dedicated to providing a quality dental experience for our patients. Our dental assistants play a vital role in creating and maintaining trust with our patients. Previous dental experience is helpful, but a strong work ethic and a professional attitude are most important to us. The ideal candidate should be friendly, organized, and have strong critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in patient education
- Process instruments through sterilization and maintain infection control protocols
- Chair side assisting
-Taking x-rays
-Taking Impressions and/or 3D scanning
-Maintain patient charts and records
-Routine equipment maintenance
-Maintain Inventory
-Correspond with labs and track cases
-Support front desk as needed
Experience
- High school diploma
- Previous dental experience preferred
- X-ray license (or willingness to become certified upon hiring)
- Current BLS - CPR certification (can be completed upon hiring)
