What are the responsibilities and job description for the Power Systems Sales Coordinator position at Dragline Service Specialties?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Billing monthly rentals of all machines, putting units on rent, taking units off rent, billing customers for wear/damage of units, adjust billing as needed.
· Track rental lease documents and initiate warranty for rental machines.
· Track customer insurance limits for rental equipment.
· Maintain contact with Caterpillar and Allied Vendors on all new machine deliveries with accurate and timely reporting.
· Sales Invoicing and maintaining support claims on post-sale credits and accounting accruals.
· Track sales and rental deliveries.
· Work with the Power Systems Sales Rep on the iQuote, IRents, and MCFA quoting systems.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
- For rental equipment, acquire trailer tags, plates, and stickers.
- Responsible for DOT information for trailers.
- Complete the title work and temporary tags for licensed vehicle sales.
- Work with Federal Excise tax accounting for licensed vehicles.
- Accurately track and report on machine and other performance metrics aligned with Sales Department initiatives.
- Provide support to Management, Power Systems Sales Reps, and additional sales staff members.
- Work with other staff members who report to the Sales Office Supervisor to understand the “Cross Training Guide” and become proficient in as many tasks as possible.
- Support the internal office functions for Earthmoving equipment as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY
· High school education or equivalent
· Outstanding detail and organizational skills
· Good listening and presentation skills
· Outstanding customer service skills.
· Time management skills with the ability to multitask.
· Intermediate to superior PC skill level to work with Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
· Must be able to operate scanners, copiers, and fax machines.
· Be self-motivated and goal orientated.
· Able to read, write, and understand English.
· Have proficient mathematical, accounting, and keyboarding skills.
· Excellent telecommunication skills.
PREFERRED
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field, personal computer, and bookkeeping classes.
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
· Material and equipment directly used: Computers, printers, copier, telephone, fax machine, scanner, and Microsoft Office software.
· Office environment requiring professional dress and appearance.
· Cradle or headset while taking notes for extended periods.
· Bending and squatting 0-4 hours per day.
· Sit and/or stand 6-8 hours a day.
· Use hands for fine manipulation.
· Walk and/or stand for 0-6 hours per day.
· Some lifting is required, up to 40 lbs.
· Operate a company vehicle requiring a valid driver’s license (driving record must meet company insurance standards and is reviewed annually).
