What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract & CVA Specialist position at Dragline Service Specialties?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Provide requested contract health information on demand and or through standard reporting intervals.
• Responsible for the creation, generation, and maintenance of reports from AMT, DBS, and Microsoft Office.
• Work closely with Contract Business Manager to produce and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on component lives, component PCR performance, budget overages, and forecast parts utilization and requirements.
• Create reports to review contract costs both internally and externally.
• Create multiple scenario contract rate development quotes using CAT Builder and AMT
• Work with Service Managers for quote specifics including part lists and labor requirements.
• Provide multiple CVA quotes in a timely manner, working directly with sales team.
• Provide a wide variety of individualized requested reports for leadership upon request.
• Responsible for the management of the AMT software
• Assist and problem solve with team members regarding Contract Software Tools
• Create and analyze Monthly Availability reports for MARCs working closely with the Customer Mine Maintenance Managers, and WMC Mine Operations Managers, Contract Site Planners, and Service Clerks.
• Reviewing availability monthly with customers, including arranging off site meetings and providing documentation for the meetings.
• Help maintain a positive, progressive attitude at all contract sites to ensure an enhanced Service department reputation and to continue to improve upon the overall perception of Wyoming Machinery Company.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
• Develop good working relationships with customers, both external and internal.
• Assist in any additional special projects required by Business Solutions group which may include but are not limited to: continuous improvement, new product introduction, known product problem management/resolution, and recommendations to executive management to ensure the long-term success of future business opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY
• College Graduate or minimum 5 years working experience in related field. May consider technical degree and 3 years' experience as alternate for college degree.
• Practical experience/background of leadership is required
• Valid Driver's License
• Travel required to visit company facilities, mine sites, customer offices and other job sites.
• Ability to work effectively with others, both inside and outside the company
• Communicate effectively through verbal, written and electronic means
• Possess advanced computer skills, including Microsoft programs and AS400.
• Ability to establish, monitor and meet short- and long-term goals.
• Excel in a team environment
• Have knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices and possess business math proficiency.
• Be well-organized, self-motivated, and able to work very effectively under pressure to be able to meet timelines and deadlines.
PREFERRED
• Exposure to Wyoming Machinery Company processes is preferred.
• Experience with CAT software programs such as Builder, Calculator and AMT
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
• Office work: use personal computers, phone system, fax machine, copier, email system, DBS, Caterpillar information systems, Caterpillar literature, Caterpillar software and company vehicles.
• Driving and climbing on machines
• Sit 6-8 hours per day.
• Stand 3 - 5 hours per day.
• Ability to climb several flights of stairs.
• Some travel, with occasional overnight stay.
• Operate a company vehicle requiring a valid driver's license (driving record must meet company insurance standards and is reviewed annually).
