Production Technician

Draco Electronics, LLC, a dynamic and expanding cable assembly manufacturer, is actively seeking highly skilled and experienced Production Technicians in Golden, CO. This role will be an integral part of our dedicated team at our Golden, CO facility. We are headquartered in Fremont, CA, and specialize in providing innovative cable solutions to a wide range of technology-driven companies throughout the United States.

We are looking for a self-driven, motivated individual who is experienced in building and installing wiring systems by reading diagrams, cutting and stripping wires, and using tools to crimp terminals or solder connections. Key Responsibilities

• The standard onsite work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
• Prepare, assemble, rework, and repair cable and harness assemblies using a variety of hand-held tools and machine-operated equipment, such as screw drivers, wrenches, crimpers, diagonal cutters, tape measures, and digital calipers
• Cut, strip, crimp, or otherwise assemble the raw materials to produce sub-assemblies
• Follow approved work instructions to perform wiring, component installation, and/or cable harnessing on assembly units
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and ability to interpret work orders, diagrams, and schematics to understand assembly requirements
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to details
• Demonstrated strong manual dexterity
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail
• Ensure the workspace is kept clean and organized
• Required: Soldering experience

Physical Requirements

The following physical requirements are necessary for employees to successfully perform this job:

• Lifting/Carrying/Manipulating: Ability to lift, twist, and carry up to 25 pounds, and to manipulate (push and pull) up to 50 pounds of product with assistance.
• Movement: Requires walking throughout the warehouse to complete production orders and standing when performing certain tasks.
• Positioning: Sitting may be required for certain tasks. Kneeling or squatting may be necessary when performing specific tasks and/or putting away products in floor-level locations.
