Position Summary:
Dapper Event Design and Production is seeking dedicated and professional event crew members to contribute to the successful execution of first-class events, including corporate functions, award ceremonies, galas, and various special events. We are looking for individuals who bring enthusiasm, professionalism, collaborative problem-solving skills, strength, stamina, and self-sufficiency to our dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities:
As a member of our event crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring above-and-beyond service to clients, event guests, partners, and event vendors. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide onsite event support including safely pulling and preparing event inventory, loading and unloading vehicles, manually transporting event inventory onsite, setting up and striking event inventory and installations, unloading and returning event inventory following events
- Provide event preparation support including errands and day-to-day tasks
- Maintain the integrity of inventory for events at all times
- Occasionally rig, including use of operating equipment
- Ensure the safety and security of all installations for employees and clients
- Willingness to work onsite, in the warehouse, and support all production activities
- Attend required pre-production meetings to review event details and expectations
- Travel with Dapper in town, throughout Colorado, and potential out-of-state for events
- Adhere to all Dapper policies, procedures, and standards
- Maintain a positive attitude toward clients, partners, guests, and colleagues at all times
- Effectively and professionally communicate with management and colleagues
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
Required Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with the following skills:
- Flexible schedule, evenings and/or weekends are required and should be expected
- Sufficient dexterity including lifting up to 75 lbs., climbing ladders, standing for extended periods
- Attention to fine details and ability to follow Dapper event standards
- Ability to maintain focus under pressure and follow instructions
- Exceptional customer service and professional demeanor
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Calm and collaborative conflict resolution
- Self-motivated work ethic
- Excellent teamwork mentality
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting/transporting 75 lbs
- Strong and calm physical stamina in noisy, fast-paced, and occasionally stressful environments
- Stand for extended periods of time
Compensation: $25/hour (No Box-Truck Driving Required)
Experience:
- Event or customer service experience: 1 year (Required)
- Carpentry/set building experience a plus
- Rigging experience a plus
- Operating scissor lifts a plus
- Stagehand, Grip, or Roadie experience a plus
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
License:
- Valid driver's license (Required)
