This is a hands-on position requiring precision, focus, and a commitment to quality. No optical experience is required— we will provide comprehensive training!

Main Responsibilities Of The Role
- Inspect lenses for defects and imperfections
- Clean and prepare lenses for mounting
- Insert lenses into frames with precision and care
- Ensure segments are straight and properly aligned
- Adjust frames to meet company standards
- Report any defects or issues to supervisors
- Work with small parts while maintaining focus on quality
- Follow all guidelines and standards for mounting lenses
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Evaluate frames for damage, proper alignment, and quality assurance.
- Verify lens prescriptions and adherence to optical standards.
- Ensure lenses are free from damage, scratches, or defects.
- Understand and work with specialty lenses.
- Troubleshoot and correct rejected jobs.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with mounting lenses is a plus, but not required
- Self-Management/Determination: Must be self-motivated and driven to meet and exceed daily goals in an independent role
- Technical Skill: Comfortable working with your hands and handling small, delicate parts
- Communication Skills: Ability to receive feedback, adapt, and implement improvements
- Personality Traits: Hardworking, dedicated, persistent, and a rule follower

- Optical Experience: No previous optical experience is necessary— we will teach you everything you need to know!
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to handle small parts and equipment with care and precision
- 1 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is a plus, but not required
