Job Overview:
Friendly and detail- oriented Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator with experience in patient scheduling, insurance verification, insurance billing, and front desk operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome new patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive first impression.
- Conduct treatment presentations, clearly explaining recommended orthodontic plans, procedures, and timelines.
- Review financial options, look up and present insurance benefits, and payment plans with patients.
- Initial insurance billing and entering contracts in the patient chart.
- Coordinate scheduling for treatment start dates and follow-up appointments.
- Collaborate with the orthodontist and clinical team to ensure seamless communications.
- Maintain accurate and up to date patient records using Orthotrac practice management software.
- Assist front office staff with scheduling appointments and other administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 year's experience in a dental or orthodontic office. Some orthodontic experience preferred.
- X-ray license is preferred
- Familiarity with dental and orthodontic terminology for effective communication.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
