Position Objective

To represent and supervise the Dr. Simi brand image across CVS points of sale and during strategic activations throughout the United States, ensuring excellent visual execution, pricing accuracy, and consistent presence of POP materials.

Additionally, this position brings Dr. Simi to life during live promotional events and brand activations — spreading joy, engaging with the community, and strengthening the emotional bond between the brand and consumers.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise and document the image, cleanliness, and visibility of Dr. Simi displays and endcaps at CVS locations.
• Conduct field audits of prices, inventories, and displays to ensure proper execution and compliance.
• Report any irregularities or deviations (incorrect pricing, damaged materials, empty shelves, or stockouts).
• Capture and submit photographic evidence and visual reports to USA Operations Management.
• Verify correct installation of POP materials, lighting, labels, and signage.
• Ensure consistent execution of campaigns in line with Farmacias Similares and CVS brand standards.
• Support the planning, setup, and execution of promotional events, fairs, festivals, and product launches.
• Maintain and update inventories of promotional materials in the U.S. and central warehouse.
• Prepare weekly reports summarizing field findings, incidents, and visual improvement suggestions.
• Assist the Junior Manager USA in preparing presentations and conducting visual audits.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and PR teams in Mexico to ensure brand alignment and consistency.

Mascot Performance & Brand Representation

• Assume the Dr. Simi character with enthusiasm and professionalism, expressing the brand’s joyful personality through gestures, movements, and positive energy.
• Perform dances, stunts, and interactive routines to engage and entertain audiences.
• Encourage public participation, lead cheers, and pose for photos with fans.
• Participate in marketing and community events to promote Farmacias Similares and its mission.
• Maintain and care for mascot costumes, props, and display materials — ensuring cleanliness, safety, and readiness for each performance.
• Follow safety guidelines to protect both performer and audience during activations.
• Be punctual, prepared, and dependable for all scheduled events and performances.

Job Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or technical degree (Communication, Marketing, Promotion, or related field).
• Experience: 1–2 years in brand activations, trade marketing, promotions, or mascot performance.
• Experience with major retailers (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target) preferred.
• Languages: Advanced Spanish / Intermediate or conversational English.
• Availability: Willingness to travel nationwide within the U.S., including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform in a mascot costume for extended periods, often in varying weather conditions.

Strategic Role

The Brand Event Associate serves as the direct ambassador of Farmacias Similares in the U.S. market. This position combines commercial execution, brand visibility, and live character performance — ensuring that every display, activation, and event communicates the cheerful, approachable, and trustworthy essence that defines Dr. Simi and Farmacias Similares.
