Duties
- Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including cold calling, networking, and lead generation to identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations and presentations to showcase roofing solutions tailored to client needs.
- Manage a designated territory by developing strategic plans for territory management and business growth.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective account management and personalized service.
- Develop new leads via B2B sales channels, marketing campaigns, and direct outreach efforts to maximize sales potential.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track interactions, manage pipelines, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B and/or B2Csales, or technical sales within the construction or home improvement industry preferred.
- Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and lead generation activities independently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills to effectively engage diverse clients.
- Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce or other CRM tools for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities.
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and upsell additional services or products when appropriate.
- Demonstrated analysis skills to evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- A proactive mindset with experience in cold calling, inside sales, retail sales, or territory sales is highly desirable.
