Duties
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, providing professional and friendly front desk support
- Answer phone calls and fax documents
- Prepare office visit routers
- Collect payments from patients
- Schedule patient appointments
- Pull and return patient charts from and to office file rack
- Complete the office visit routers and payments for the business office
- Assist with clerical tasks including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and record keeping
- Restock vitamins/supplements on the display shelf
- Monitor and maintain the waiting room throughout the day
- Assist Dr. Battmer and other staff as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to use calculators and credit card machine
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a collegial environment
- Cheerful personality
- Professional demeanor and ability to work with highly confidential information
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in customer support roles such as dental or medical receptionist is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple priorities
- Knowledge of office management procedures and basic bookkeeping practices
