We are seeking an organized, proactive, and friendly Director of First Impressions to serve as the welcoming face of our Overland Park office and provide essential administrative support across our audit, accounting, and tax teams.
Position Overview
As the Director of First Impressions, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and team members, delivering upbeat, professional service whether in person, by phone, or via email. You’ll manage the reception area, assist with scheduling and communications, and help ensure smooth, efficient daily operations throughout the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
- Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area and conference rooms
- Schedule appointments and assist with departmental calendars
- Support tax processing, including scanning, organizing, and routing client documents
- Coordinate with tax professionals and clients to ensure timely collection and delivery of information
- Assist with client communications and documentation
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of recent office experience (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Prior client-facing or customer service experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with accounting or professional services (a plus)
Schedule & Work Environment
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM during the non-busy season, may require a shift in schedule, including Saturdays, and/or overtime during busy season. Organize lunch breaks and vacation requests with other trained administrative staff in your location to ensure front desk is staffed.
