Part-Time Physician Assistant – Wound Care (Vacation & Holiday Coverage)
$100/hour • Mileage Reimbursement • Flexible Schedule
Dr. Novikov Wellness and Skin Care is seeking an experienced, compassionate Physician Assistant to provide coverage during provider vacations and holiday weeks in skilled nursing facilities throughout Massachusetts.
This position is ideal for a PA looking to supplement an existing position while maintaining maximum flexibility.
Compensation- $100 per clinical hour
- Maximum of 8 paid clinical hours per day
- IRS mileage reimbursement
- No call
- No weekends (unless mutually agreed)
- No nights
- No minimum weekly commitment
Coverage is scheduled in advance for:
- Provider vacations
- Holiday weeks
- Occasional additional coverage as needed
Most assignments are single-day or multi-day blocks.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and manage chronic wounds in skilled nursing facilities
- Perform bedside procedures including debridement, skin biopsy and other
- Develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with nursing staff and facility leadership
- Complete documentation before the end of the workday
- Current Massachusetts Physician Assistant license
- DEA registration
- Comfortable working independently after orientation
- Reliable transportation
- Physician-led specialty practice
