Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
• Assist with merchandising efforts, including stocking shelves and organizing displays to maximize visual appeal
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options to increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and attractive
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries
• Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and assisting with stock replenishment as needed
• Apply basic retail math skills for cash register operations and daily reconciliation tasks
• Foster a friendly environment through clear communication skills and attentive customer service

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially within dispensary or similar environments involving customer interaction
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings or training new staff
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling protocols required
• Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques beneficial
• Strong communication skills necessary for engaging with customers and team members alike
• Basic math skills essential for retail math calculations and transaction accuracy
