Southern Maine Apothecary is looking for a friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable Budtender to join our team. We are a medical cannabis dispensary focused on providing exceptional service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a consistent, high-quality experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
As a Budtender, you will be one of the first points of contact for patients, helping guide them through our menu, answering questions, and making thoughtful recommendations based on their needs and preferences. We are looking for someone who is personable, professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and provide a warm, professional experience
- Educate patients on products including flower, concentrates, edibles, and vape options
- Make recommendations based on patient needs, preferences, and experience level
- Accurately process transactions and follow all cash-handling procedures
- Maintain compliance with all state regulations and company policies
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Assist with opening/closing duties and daily store upkeep
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a positive, supportive environment
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to learn product knowledge and explain it clearly to patients
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Detail-oriented and able to follow compliance procedures closely
- Previous retail, hospitality, or cannabis experience is a plus, but not required
