About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-driven, strategic Accountant to oversee financial operations across multiple entities. This role blends hands-on accounting with high-level financial planning—perfect for someone who wants both ownership and influence.
You’ll work closely with leadership to ensure financial clarity, optimize cash flow, and support smart investment decisions.
Position Details
- Location: Northern Virginia (Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 (DOE)
What You’ll Do
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Build dashboards and KPIs for leadership visibility
- Conduct variance analysis and cash flow forecasting
- Support budgeting and strategic planning
Accounting Operations
- Oversee bookkeeping and general ledger activities
- Ensure accurate AP/AR, payroll, and expense reporting
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts
- Collaborate with CPA on taxes, filings, and audits
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations
Process & Systems
- Standardize accounting workflows across entities
- Leverage tools like QuickBooks, Ramp, and others
- Develop and document financial SOPs
Strategic Finance
- Advise ownership on ROI, profitability, and cash flow
- Support capital planning and lender reporting
- Recommend strategies to improve margins and performance
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus)
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with multi-entity environments
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets and financial systems skills
- Familiarity with real estate, construction, or property management is a plus
- Analytical mindset with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
