Duties
Assist experienced electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across various settings, including industrial facilities and commercial buildings.
Support the reading and interpretation of electrical blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution.
Help with conduit bending, electrical wiring, and electrical systems installation following safety protocols and industry standards such as NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) and NEC (National Electrical Code).
Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures, including low voltage work practices, to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Participate in construction site duties, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards during all phases of electrical work.
Learn to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to support project planning and execution.
Skills
Strong interest in developing skills in industrial and commercial electrical systems.
Experience or familiarity with electrical schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and conduit bending techniques.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices used in electrical work.
