This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, is eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. No prior experience in eye care is required—we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others.
This individual is tasked with carrying out a wide range of ophthalmic data collection procedures, as directed by the physician, to support accurate diagnosis of patients' conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and prepare patients for their eye exams, ensuring comfort and clarity about procedures.
- Perform preliminary testing using specialized equipment (training provided).
- Record patient medical histories and update electronic health records accurately.
- Assist the clinical team with diagnostic imaging and other technical procedures.
- Educate patients on eye health, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment.
- Support inventory management and restocking of clinical supplies.
- Collaborate with doctors and staff to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting.
- Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems.
- Previous experience in healthcare or customer service is a plus but not required.

This position is based in a professional healthcare office and requires regular interaction with patients, physicians, and staff. Team members should be comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and using office and clinical equipment throughout the workday. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. Visual abilities, including close-up and distance vision, are necessary for performing job duties effectively.
