We are looking for a full time Physical Therapist to uphold our excellent patient care standards with one-on-one treatments and contribute to our welcoming and collaborative culture in our Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital (MOSH) Physical Therapy & Hand Therapy, in Oak Creek, WI.  You will be employed by Doctors of Physical Therapy while representing and working with the well-known Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital physicians and medical teams in the Milwaukee Area.

We are looking for a Therapist who can create a patient experience that embodies the Doctors of Physical Therapy vision: to ensure outcomes via evidence- based practice and literature supported treatment which maximizes patient service, quality care, and clinical efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy initial evaluations according to APTA standards
• Develop a comprehensive plan of care for each patient based on initial evaluation findings.
• Understand reimbursement standards by insurance carrier and be able to design a clinically superior patient program that allows for heightened patient success.
• Demonstrate consistent Compliance excellence by (not limited to):
  • Develop short and long-term goals for patients
  • Implement plan of care
  • Provide comprehensive therapy treatment to improve patient well-being and return to optimized functionality.
  • Consistently report patient progress to referring physicians and other professionals involved in the ongoing treatment of the patient.
  • Create and document home exercise plans for patients to improve benefits of physical therapy.
  • Plan and execute discharge of patient
• Maintain contemporary knowledge in physical therapy practice through educational workshops, continuing education, etc.
• Communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner including, but not limited to, other health care professionals, insurance companies, third party payers, case managers, etc.
