Key Responsibilities
- Assess and address musculoskeletal discomfort within OSHA First Aid guidelines
- Provide early intervention care and injury prevention strategies
- Coach employees on proper body mechanics, posture, and safe work practices
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend risk-reduction solutions
- Collaborate with safety teams, plant leadership, and supervisors
- Develop individualized care plans using evidence-based techniques
- Promote overall wellness through strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination initiatives
- Document care services appropriately
- Support alternatives to medication and surgical intervention when appropriate
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- Experience with ergonomic assessments (preferred)
