About the Role:
As an Account Advisor, you'll assist Senior Advisors and Managers in handling and processing new and renewal commercial lines business. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding customer service while helping maintain, expand, and service commercial accounts.
What You'll Do
- Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to clients.
- Coordinate expirations with producers to gather renewal and new business information.
- Market new and renewal business, prepare proposals, and assist in client presentations.
- Verify policy accuracy, generate billing invoices, and ensure timely delivery to clients.
- Address client and company inquiries regarding insurance, claims, or administrative needs.
- Manage a suspense system to track outstanding items and follow-ups.
- Participate in special projects, client meetings, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain detailed account records and keep producers informed of key account activities.
Requirements
What Were Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar position, preferably in commercial insurance.
- Education: College degree preferred.
- Licensing: Must hold a valid P&C Insurance License.
- Strong understanding of commercial lines insurance coverage, forms, and underwriting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- A commitment to pursuing advanced insurance designations.
- Reliable transportation for client meetings as needed.
