We are looking for a DPF Restoration Specialist to join our team cleaning DPF's! This is a full-time, permanent position with standard Monday through Friday schedule.

· $25-$32/hour (DOQ) and 40 hours per week

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
· Cleaning/restoration of Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC), and Select Catalyst Reduction (SCR) devices.
· Performing any disassembly and/or cutting open of components to prepare for service
· Inspecting components and identifying those that cannot be cleaned and therefore require replacement.
· Operate the cleaning equipment as well as equipment that can replace damaged substrates in both Diesel Particulate Filters and Diesel Oxidation Catalysts.
· Use a digital workflow to record all cleaning and remanufacturing processes.
· Cutting and welding
· Always representing DPF Alternatives to customers in a respectful and ethical manner, and creating referral partners
· Adhere to all Company standard procedures, policies, and safety practices while performing work activities.
· Other duties as assigned
Organizational and communication skills are imperative to ensure there are no logistical problems and filters are returned to customers on time. When there are no filters to clean or remanufacture, the Shop Technician will clean the shop, clean and maintain the delivery vehicle, and assist the outside sales team with sales efforts.
Job Requirements
- Steel toe boots and proper PPE are required
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Professional demeanor to represent the company well in front of customers and vendors
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
Experience or ability to be trained in the following:
- Must be able to operate basic hand and power tools
- Some knowledge of Diesel aftertreatment systems preferred
- Cutting and welding of exhaust tubing
- Disassembly and removal of exhaust sensors (EGT, NOx, differential pressure, etc.)
- Operate a tablet for recording data on digital workflow
- Work independently and be self-motivated
