What are the responsibilities and job description for the Penetration Tester position at DP Professionals?
Seeking a Red Team Penetration Tester for an opportunity in Dam Neck, Virginia. Candidates must have an active US security clearance.
Work arrangement:
- Onsite
- W2 position; up to six years
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
Position requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Information Systems, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering
- Required Certification:
- DoD 8570.01-M in accordance with (IAW) DFARS 252.239-7001 Baseline Certification, minimum CSSP Auditor
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) required, plus one of the following certifications: Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE), Offensive Security Exploitation Expert (OSEE), or Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP) certification
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Ten (10) years of full-time professional experience conducting penetration testing and/or offensive Cyber operations including demonstrated experience in each of the following areas:
- Developing and utilizing penetration tools such as Metasploit, NMAP, Kali Linux, Cobalt Strike.
- Mimicking threat behavior
- Utilizing various operating systems (Linux, Windows, MAC OS)
- Utilizing Active Directory
- Exploit development.
- Identifying gaps in tools and development techniques.
- Three scripting or programming languages (python, C , Java, Rust, Assembly, etc.).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $80.00 - $95.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
