DPP is seeking a Senior Database Administrator for a direct hire position with our client in Marysville, Ohio. This role is fully onsite.

What you will be doing:
- Database Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement database solutions in collaboration with development teams. Create database schemas, tables, and indexes to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Database Administration: Manage, monitor, and optimize database instances to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity. Configure and maintain database backups, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Performance Tuning and Optimization: Identify and resolve database performance issues, including query optimization, index tuning, and resource utilization. Monitor database performance metrics and implement improvements to optimize performance.
- 10 years of experience as a DB2 LUW DBA in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of DB2 LUW architecture, utilities, and tools. Experience with HADR, TSA, QREP and other high availability solutions.
- 5 years of experience with Cloud Concepts, AWS and other Cloud Technologies, IaaS and PaaS, Cloud Database Platforms (RDS PostgreSQL, AWS DynamoDB, DocumentDB, MongoDB, Neo4j, Neptune etc.)
