Summary:
- The Atlassian Organization Administrator requires 3-5 years of hands-on experience administrating Atlassian Cloud environments.
- System Configuration & Maintenance: Manage global settings, schemes (permission, notification, issue security), and complex workflows for Jira Product Discovery, Jira and Confluence.
- User & Access Management: Administer user accounts, groups, and authentication policies (SAML, SSO) via Atlassian Access/Guard.
- Platform Health & Optimization: Monitor system performance, perform regular "garbage collection" or cleanup of legacy entities, and manage application upgrades for Data Center or Server instances.
- Automation & Customization: Design and implement global automation rules and develop custom scripts (using Groovy, Python, or Java) to extend platform functionality.
- Marketplace & Integration Management: Vet, install, and manage third-party apps from the Atlassian Marketplace and build integrations with tools like GitHub, Zendesk, or Slack.
- Governance & Documentation: Establish standards for tool usage, create technical documentation for internal processes, and provide training to end-users.
