What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Engineer position at DP Professionals (DPP)?
Job Summary:
Identify and resolve issues impacting product flow by applying continuous improvement and process optimization methods to reduce bottlenecks and lower work in progress (WIP). This role also provides leadership and direction to IE operators and technicians while supporting their development and overall performance.
Qualifications:
- US Citizen, Permanent Resident/Green Card, or Active TN Visa- No Sponsorship Available at this time
- Valid drivers license with clean background check and drug screen
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process improvement, or industrial engineering environments, including project leadership experience.
- Experience with data collection, root cause analysis, and practical problem-solving in a production environment.
- Understanding of throughput improvement and process optimization methods.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and focus on critical business needs.
