What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aircraft Mechanic position at DP Professionals (DPP)?
- Maintains repairs and modifies aircraft systems components/engines of complex to extreme difficulty
- Reads and interprets manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical and engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility/method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning/damaged components
- Basic knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair
- Detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, etc. is required.
- Provide technical support to mechanical engineers and customers
- Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, written instructions
- Solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals
