Job Description :
DPP is seeking a Data Integration Developer for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.
Work location: Partial onsite (Tues., Wed., Thurs. and as needed) in Columbia, SC.
Duration: 12 months
Terms: W2 contract
Work authorization: Candidates must be eligible to earn a low-level (Public Trust) US security clearance.
Position summary:
- This team is responsible for real-time data integration across the enterprise. This includes API Gateways and service orchestration for all areas across the organization and with external partners.
- They design, build, and support these integrations using their developed APIs or routing/transforming vendor services; and use a large variety of tools and platforms to ensure stability and responsiveness.
About the team:
- The team currently is comprised of Developers, Designers, Analysts, and Team Leaders. They support all integrations; the area can have up to 90 concurrent active efforts, and team members will generally touch multiple efforts each week.
- These integrations will span all areas of the enterprise (commercial business, government contracts, internal systems areas, and external partners using both on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
Required technologies:
- JavaScript
- APIs (SOAP and RESTful)
Nice to have:
- Authentication/Encryption, and systems integration experience.
- Previous experience with IBM DataPower, IBM API-Connect, AWS API Gateway, Kong, RedHat OpenShift Containers, Node.js, Java-based services on IBM WebSphere Application Servers, OpenAPI Swagger, GitHub, GitHub.actions, Jenkins, Blackduck, SonarQube, ReadyAPI, Artifactory, MQ, IBM WTX/ITX, Mainframe Copybook transformations, XML, mTLS, OAuth, Splunk, or MongoDB would be beneficial.
Minimum required work experience:
- 4 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience.
Required education/equivalencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
- OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
- OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 8 years without a degree)
