Why Odds On Promotions?

Odds On Promotions, an entity of DOXA, is seeking a client-facing System Support Technician (SST) to configure, test, and deploy promotional hardware and software. This role supports clients through setup, troubleshooting, and post-deployment adjustments, while also working with internal teams to identify issues, test new features, and create user-friendly documentation and demo videos. Additional duties include maintaining deployment tools, assisting with hardware handling, and providing basic IT support. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, test, and deploy promotional hardware and software packages
  • Deliver technical assistance for promotional systems and troubleshoot issues
  • Partner with sales, marketing, operations, and development to enhance products, software functionality, and customer support processes
  • Set up and manage deployment tools such as Microsoft Deployment Tool (MDT) and Kiosk Management Deployment Tool
  • Document support tickets and resolutions for internal tracking
  • Create white papers, guides, and documentation for both internal and external users
  • Produce demo videos for products and games
  • Assist with equipment logistics and basic internal IT tasks
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, including evening and weekend coverage

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of core networking principles such as DNS, TCP/IP, certificate-based security, PowerShell automation, and installing or configuring SQL Server environments.
  • Experience working with IIS, including managing web applications and adjusting application pool settings.
  • Comfortable using a variety of remote support tools, including LogMeIn, Dameware, RDP, and VPN technologies.
  • Exceptional customer support abilities, with clear, patient communication tailored to users with different levels of technical experience.
  • Competent with standard office software and common desktop applications.
  • Strong background in hardware troubleshooting, diagnostics, and component repair.
  • Prior experience in advanced support positions—such as Tier 3 Help Desk, Endpoint Support, Desktop Engineering, or Systems Support—is a plus.

Salary Description

$23.61 - $28.85/hour
