The Downtown Troy Business Improvement District (BID) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in event coordination, community engagement, and downtown development.

From hosting signature events to providing key resources and fostering connections, we work to ensure Downtown Troy remains a top destination to live, work, and explore. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with event setup, takedown, and cleanup
- Supporting vendor coordination, including communication, applications, signups, and follow-ups
- Participating in event preparation and planning
- Contributing to other BID initiatives, such as:
- Beautification projects
- Marketing and social media
- Communications and outreach
- Civic engagement efforts

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or recently graduated in a related field: Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations.
- Strong Organizational, multitasking, and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Flexible to work occasional nights/weekends for special events.
- Passion for small businesses, community, and events.
