Job Summary
The Fergusons/ Container Park Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the daily operations across Fergusons Downtown, Downtown Container Park, and F The Bar. This position oversees property operations, team leadership, tenant and vendor relations, event execution, and overall guest experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operations Support
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily FOH and BOH operations across both properties, including F the Bar.
- Support execution of operational standards, policies, and procedures
- Conduct routine property walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards
- Help ensure compliance with city regulations, including security plans, noise ordinances, and permitting requirements
- Assist with inventory control, ordering, and asset management
Team Leadership & Development
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling of team members
- Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to front-line teams including Greeters, Porters, Safety Professionals, bar employees and third-party vendors.
- Reinforce company culture centered around guest experience and teamwork
- Assist with employee relations, coaching, and performance management
- Lead by example to create a positive, energetic, and accountable work environment
Guest Experience
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards are upheld across both properties
- Act as an escalation point for guest concerns and resolve issues professionally, escalating when necessary
- Engage with guests during peak hours and events to maintain a welcoming atmosphere
Tenant & Vendor Relations
- Support communication with tenants to ensure needs are met and relationships remain positive
- Build and sustain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and the local community
- Assist with tenant move-in and move-out procedures, including key and access management
- Help ensure tenants are informed of events, updates, and property activities
- Support tenant-hosted events to ensure alignment with property standards and requirements
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to support timely and quality service delivery, escalating issues as needed
Events & Programming
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events, activations, and programming
- Support the review and vetting of event inquiries (internal and external), ensuring alignment with brand standards and operational capacity
- Assist in preparing event terms, agreements, and documentation
- Help ensure required permits, licenses, and city requirements are completed and organized appropriately
- Support event logistics including staffing, setup, permits, and guest flow
- Contribute ideas for events and marketing campaigns that drive foot traffic and community engagement
- Ensure events align with brand standards and property goals
Safety & Security
- Support enforcement of property rules, safety procedures, and security protocols
- Monitor park activity and assist in coordinating with security when necessary
- Review incident reports and escalate issues appropriately
- Help maintain a safe environment for guests, tenants, and team members
Administrative & Financial Support
- Assist in tracking labor, expenses, and operational costs
- Support invoice processing, reporting, and budget tracking
- Help maintain organization of operational documents, schedules, and reports
- Contribute to achieving short-term and long-term financial goals
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed
- Support merchandising or retail operations where applicable
- Be available for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall business success

- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Education & Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hospitality, property management, events, or venue operations
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
- Experience with event planning and execution strongly preferred
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Working Conditions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–8 hours)
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable working in loud, high-volume environments
- Ability to interact with diverse populations, including large crowds and challenging situations
