POSITION SUMMARY:
It is the primary responsibility of the Host to greet guests, arrange for prompt seating, and ensure guests feel welcome and comfortable. This position requires an engaging, outgoing presence with the ability to multitask.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Provide information on all aspects of the Triple George Grill's services and facilities for guests.
- Greet guests and arrange seating, monitors dining room atmosphere.
- Quote accurate waiting times and handles guest waiting lists or reservations in accordance with established procedures.
- Answer phones according to established procedures.
- Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to ensure quality service.
- Work with Open-Table to provide accurate information.
- Document reservations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience working with guests in a face-to-face setting.
- Previous experience with Open-Table preferred.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
- Must be able to comprehend all information and documentation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke.
- Follow all safety procedures as established by the company.
