Responsibilities
- Lead engaging tumble classes for children and teens, tailoring instruction to various skill levels
- Develop comprehensive training plans that emphasize proper technique, safety, and progression
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all participants during training sessions and routines
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to help athletes improve their skills and confidence
- Incorporate sports-specific training instruction such as cheerleading, acrobatics, and other floor gymnastics skills.
- Manage behavior effectively to maintain a positive and focused learning environment
- Maintain equipment safety checks and ensure the gym area is clean and organized at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in gymnastics coaching or teaching physical education in a sports or health club setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively instruct students of diverse ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of sports coaching techniques with an emphasis on behavior management and motivation
- Experience with Lifeguard procedures, AED operation, and emergency response protocols
- Background in sports-specific training instruction such as cheerleading, gymnastics, or dance acrobatic.
- Familiarity with childcare practices and working with students in a structured environment
- Ability to demonstrate skills needed for comprehensive coaching
