Summary
Downtown Bridal, Prom & Tuxedo is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Bridal Consultant to help create memorable experiences for brides and formalwear customers. The ideal candidate is sales-driven, fashion-minded, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional customer service while helping clients find attire for life's special moments.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized consultations and exceptional customer service to brides and formalwear customers
- Build relationships with clients, maintain accurate customer records, and complete timely follow-up communication
- Meet and exceed sales goals through effective product recommendations, cross-selling, and closing sales
- Process sales transactions, contracts, measurements, and other customer documentation accurately
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with both bridal and non-bridal customer needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Support opening and closing procedures and assist with inventory upkeep
- Participate in social media engagement, community networking, and store events
- Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment
- Stay informed on bridal trends, designers, products, and store promotions
Qualifications
- Passion for bridal, prom, and formalwear fashion
- Bridal industry experience is preferred; applicants with at least 3 years of retail sales experience will also be considered
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong sales skills with the ability to meet or exceed goals
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable using basic computer systems and point-of-sale software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
