As a Guest Services Manager at IC Arena, you will oversee guest services during live events, ensuring safety, resolving concerns, and leading your team to deliver smooth operations and memorable experiences for every guest.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to all arena policies by both guests and team members by providing oversight and support throughout each event.
- Serve as Manager on Duty and address all guest concerns, resolve complaints and manage incidents during events. Prepare proper documentation as needed per incident.
- Primary contact for Guest Services team and responsible for all scheduling and communication with both internal and external partners for events. This includes Boise Police, Acute Emergency, Grove Hotel, vendors, etc.
- Act as steward of Americans with Disabilities (ADA) guidelines and help facilitate arena’s compliance with policy
- Manage inventory of event equipment: this includes all uniforms, security items, wristbands, radios, stamps, etc.
- Attend meetings and planning sessions for arena events in support of Director of Guest Services.
- Other job-related duties as required.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service, problem solving and professional communication skills
- 2 years minimum supervisory experience of a team in Hospitality, priority given to those with arena or stadium event management.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- This is an EVENTS based position: primarily Nights, Weekends, and occasional Holidays (based on events schedule). There will also be some traditional office hours.
- Ability to work long, often irregular hours in various settings: this includes and is not limited to standing on concrete for extended periods of time, working inside and outside in all elements, working alone or in a team.
- Proficient in core business software.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able move and manipulate up to 50 lbs.
