Job Summary
Directly reports to assigned school site principals and the district administrator overseeing physical education. The Itinerant Elementary Physical Education Teacher provides standards-based instruction in physical education across multiple school sites, supporting students’ physical development, health, and wellness. The teacher designs and delivers engaging lessons aligned to state standards, collaborates with site staff, and promotes lifelong fitness, teamwork, positive student behavior, and the six pillars of the Character Counts! program.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Possession of a valid Single Subject Physical Education credential with EL Authorization • CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred • Possession of a valid California Driver’s License and ability to travel between assigned school sites within the district
