What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Manager position at Down to Earth?
We’re looking for an inspiring and results-driven Store Manager to lead our Kahului location. This is a full-time, salaried Manager IV role with generally a Monday–Friday schedule, offering you both stability and the chance to make a meaningful impact every day.
What You’ll Do:
As our Store Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our store’s success. You’ll:
- Lead and motivate a passionate team to deliver exceptional customer service and create an inviting shopping experience.
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, from merchandising to day-to-day efficiency.
- Achieve and exceed goals in sales, labor, and profitability while maintaining zero shrink.
- Ensure safety and company policies are not just followed, but modeled as part of our culture.

Experience
- At least five years’ retail experience, with at least two years’ experience in a management position.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to achieve results.
- Strong written and verbal communication, and team management skills.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in Office software including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Good organization and planning skills.
Starting Pay
- Starting at $1,500/week, with growth opportunities up to $1,900/week
- COLA raises near or at the top of the scale.
- Quarterly bonus potential of $1,000 per quarter.
