Our company is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team!What you'll do:Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries using Sage 50 accounting softwareProcess weekly billing.Reconcile bank statements and manage collectionsPrepare monthly financial statements and assist with budgetingSupport year-end closing and work with external accountantsHelp with the on-boarding of new customers and vendorsSupport the company’s daily operation by managing software renewals and suppliesOther administrative duties and special projects as neededMaintain accurate records and handle confidential information with careWhat we're looking for:Experience with any accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent reliability, communication, and confidentialityWillingness to learn new systems and accounting principlesAbility to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative teamAvailable to work on-site in Auburn, MA at least 2 days/weekQualifications:Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fieldsFundamental knowledge of GAAPAbility to prioritize and multitaskStrong organizational skillsDeadline and detail-orientedCompany DescriptionFounded in 1999, Dovetail Internet Technologies, LLC is a small, established software and hosting company based in Auburn, Massachusetts.
