Dover Behavioral Health System is a 104-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful Dover, Delaware area. Dover Behavioral Health System features individual units for adolescents and adults and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. The Primary function of Milieu Management Specialist is to ensure patient safety through staff education and staff culture development. The Milieu Manager assists CNO with planning and oversight of the MHT patient care role and overall goal of facilitating the provision of continuous and safe patient care, observation, interaction and role modeling to patient. Milieu Manager is responsible for primary training, preceptorship and mentorship of the MHTs throughout the facility. Patients served include, children (ages 5-11); adolescents (ages 12-17), adults (ages 18-65); and geriatrics (66 ). Milieu Manager will work with the DCS to develop MHT Group programming and implementation for all populations. Milieu Manager will be responsible for training and accountability of MHT group compliance (Fidelity Program). This is a non-exempt status position.
