PURPOSE
This position will assist in administering and proctoring the HiSET Test to eligible high school students.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Effectively navigate the HiSET testing website to administer, begin, and end all testing sessions.
- Check-in test takers (registration confirmation and identifications).
- Maintain documentation
- Inventory testing materials
- Conduct testing sessions
- Direct test takers to their specific seat.
- Distribute and collect any necessary testing materials.
- Answer general procedural questions.
- Walk around the room frequently during testing.
- Monitor and account for any test materials.
- Verify and monitor that no one (including test personnel) is using a cell phone during testing.
- Verify that prohibited devices and testing aids are not being used in the test center, during the administration and during any breaks.
- Other duties as assigned

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports To: Building Principal
Supervises: None
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: Missouri substitute teaching certificate; 36 college credit hours, or Associates degree, or 20-hour DESE sub course, or ParaPro assessment. Prior experience in a school setting and/or working with young people.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, Missouri teaching certificate, previous teaching experience, ability to work in a team teaching setting; A strong desire to teach and be responsible for instructing children as assigned.
Ideal candidate will have a professional and friendly demeanor with a demonstrated ability to work well with a variety of individuals in a fast-paced environment.
