Douglass Community Services is seeking a Partner Administrator to support our Head Start and Early Head Start partnership sites by coaching educators, strengthening program quality, and helping children and families thrive.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional who enjoys mentoring others, building strong relationships, and promoting high-quality learning environments.
Location: Central Office in Hannibal or Randolph County Office in Moberly
Compensation: Level 35 (Non-Exempt) – $22.64 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, year-round (52 weeks)
What You'll Do
- Coach and mentor teachers to strengthen instructional practices and improve child outcomes.
- Support the implementation of Education, Disabilities, Mental Health, and Coaching services across partnership sites.
- Model developmentally appropriate teaching strategies, lesson planning, and classroom management.
- Monitor compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ensure required screenings, documentation, referrals, and follow-up services are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and community partners to support each child's individual needs.
- Analyze program data, monitor progress toward goals, and promote continuous quality improvement.
- Foster positive relationships, teamwork, and professional growth while serving as a trusted resource to staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required.
- Experience teaching children birth through age five strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards preferred.
- Ability to obtain CLASS training and DRDP Rater Reliability Certification within six months of hire.
- CPR and First Aid certification required upon hire.
- Strong communication, organization, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively.
