Are you passionate about early childhood education and helping children succeed? Do you enjoy supporting teachers, mentoring staff, and creating positive learning environments for children and families? Douglass Community Services is seeking an Education Team Leader to help lead and strengthen our Head Start program.
This rewarding leadership role provides support and oversight for the Education, Disabilities, Mental Health, and Coaching components of the program while helping ensure children and families receive high-quality early childhood services that promote growth, learning, and school readiness.
The Education Team Leader works closely with teachers, families, administrative staff, and community partners to support classroom success, staff development, and continuous program improvement across our service area.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
- Preschool teaching experience preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to complete required CLASS and curriculum certifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Starting Wage: $23.77 per hour | Exempt (Level 40)
Schedule: Monday through Friday | 40 hours per week | Year-round position
