Are you passionate about advocating for children and strengthening your community? Douglass Community Services is seeking a CASA Volunteer Coordinator to lead and support volunteers who serve children in foster care through our CASA and Douglass programs.
This meaningful role focuses on volunteer engagement, program coordination, and community collaboration to help ensure children’s voices are heard in the court system.
Pay: $40,560 to $41,600 annually
Schedule: 40 hours/52 weeks annually, Weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and support CASA volunteers
- Coordinate program operations and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with courts, agencies, and community partners
- Support fundraising, grants, and outreach efforts
- Promote CASA and DCS programs in the community
- Researches and prepares grant proposals and other funding applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in volunteer coordination or nonprofit program support
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Interest in child advocacy and community engagement
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
