establish a legal determination of paternity for children; collect
financial and health insurance support for children and modify
court-ordered support obligations on local and intergovernmental cases.

in work related to the child support field, experience as an eligibility
worker in a human services agency, experience with the legal system and
experience in collection work outside the public sector may be
considered in lieu of educational requirements. Successful adjudication
of State Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations
(FBI) fingerprints and criminal background check pursuant to Internal
Revenue Service (IRS) 1075 Publication are required due to access to
Federal Tax Information (FTI). (at the time of hire and every 4.5 years,
